The ProEquality Centre of the Open Society supports the recommendations of the civil society organisations from Europe concerning the implementation of UN SCR 1325. The document was drafted during an international conference, jointly organised by the Initiative for Peacebuilding (IfP), the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) and International Alert in September 2009 in Brussels. The recommendations are divided into two parts: first part is focusing on the issue of National Action Plans, and second part is addressing the EU Institutions.
